BROS Augmented Reality at Spazio Oberdan

BROS Augmented Reality at Spazio Oberdan

April 6, 2011  |  POST, PROJECT

Bros is a young artist, very popular in Italy, who has always been distinct for his innovative approach to art. In 2010  his challenge was to attempt to transmit to others the sensations, colours and sounds perceived during  atrip, in this instance in the beautiful Sardegna. JoinPad (and in particular Andrea Gonteri) have decided to support the idea developing a system capable of creating a mixed reality between works of art and digital content.

Through special glasses you’re able to observe  works of art and immediately taken into a space and time different to the real one (further details on this project will be found in the following days on brosart.com).

Bros has decided to present the work at “Pensiero Fluido”, the contemporary exhibition at “Spazio Oberdan” running from October to November 2010.

Those wishing to experiment with the system from home (but without the special glasses) can visit bros.joinpad.net. JoinPad is capable of bringing augmented reality to Italian art museums with 3 days on New York’s MOMA!
