At the beginning of September, Alstom Italy officially introduced in its program a worldwide series of events called “Digital Friday“.
Thanks to these new Digital Fridays, every month all the employees from the headquarter in Milan, both workmen and managers, have the chance to listen and speak with a selected speaker invited by Alstom from the world of Innovation. Emerging technologies born from the digital world applied to the industrial field is the main theme of the events, with the goal of portraying how the factory of the future will work.
Mauro Rubin was invited by Alstom to be the first guest of this event series, officially launching the Digital Fridays worldwide.
Augmented Reality was the first technology investigated: starting from JoinPad’s works, Mauro touched all the important points about its use nowdays, closing the discussion with our work on the remote assistance with Alstom and the future business implications. The event was a great success; the public was really interested in the topic with a lot of question about the Industry 4.0 ecosystem.
For us it was a real honor to open the event directly in Alstom headquarters and see how the industrial world is moving fast towards the future.
