A special, innovative concept of great interest to any industrial need where hands-free access to large amounts of information is necessary. Augmented XP is able to conform its hardware features, maintaining its own characteristics, to every kind of needs it’s called to satisfy: from heavy industrial processes or extreme conditions (open seas, extreme altitudes) maintenance operations, where Augmented XP is equibbed with HMD glasses, to Augmented XP “user friendly” version, installed on tablet or mobile, for domestic light maintenance (boilers, small and large appliances,etc.).
A special release of Augmented eXPerience, able to apply Augmented Reality features to broadcast/teletransmission industry maintenance needs, has been conceived and developed by JoinPad for Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies, and previewed at Nab Show 2011, one of the most important world event for digital media industry.
Augmented XP per Screen Service
Augmented XP released for Screen Service is the product conceived and developed by JoinPad, able to assist technician, involved in broadcast/teletransmission industry, during ordinary and extraordinary maintenance: from transmission system installation, antennas, microwawe links, broadcasting equipments (amplifiers, excitors, etc.) to generic maintenance. Through special HMD glasses equipped with a webcam, technicians (of every technical or industrial sector) will be able to recognize device and to get related instructions about specific operations to perform, the position and relative instructions about the best way to replace a hardware component part or to set up the system.
