

Simplifying industrial processes with Augmented Reality
From November 4th to November 7th, the AIXA – Artificial Intelligence/Expo of Applications event will take place in Milan at MiCo – Milano Convention Center. The conference will focus on Artificial Intelligence, Augmented, and Virtual Reality applied to the business world where these technologies are becoming ever more relevant for the innovation, design, production, and distribution processes. More than 2.000 participants and 200 speakers will gather for 4 days of networking and 100 hours of events.
Each day will have a different track. Starting on November 4th with the Digital & Humanity one, the event will be opened at 6 pm by Mark Curtis, Chief Client Officer at Fjord – Design and Innovation from Accenture Interactive, addressing the topic of human-centric brand communication. On November 5th will begin the three days of AI Business Training, designed as experiential labs and conferences, to explore the latest digital innovations through a hands-on approach.
On November 6th, it will be held all day long, “The business power of Augmented & Virtual Reality” track in collaboration with the Italy Chapter of VRARA, the global association of AR/VR firms, of which JoinPad has been part for many years. Real use cases, live demo, videos will show how companies from different sectors as Marketing, Manufacturing, Medical, Logistics, and Retail can leverage AR/VR solutions to solve specific problems and improve overall performances. Lorenzo Montagna, Chapter President of VRARA Italy, will be on stage for a panel discussion on why Augmented and Virtual Reality are becoming essential technologies for business growth and how companies like Intesa San Paolo, Villa Sistemi Medicali, Aboca, and Konica Minolta are implementing them.
In the afternoon, from 2:30 pm, attendees will hear directly from VRARA members about industry-specific use cases, backed by real examples of AR/VR projects. JoinPad’s CEO, Mauro Rubin,will a keynote titled “How to simplify industrial processes with Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence“, presenting the latest Augmented Reality innovations and future developments in the maintenance, repair, and remote support operations. At the VRARA booth and individual desk, participants will also have the opportunity to try our applications and demos first-hand.
