Building AR solutions for new LEION Smart Glasses by LLVision
Smart Glasses, along with smart contact lenses, are expected to become the next generation of computing platforms replacing smartphones and other handheld devices by the end of this decade. In recent years, the AR hardware sector has undergone many rapid transformations that have led large companies and startups to develop ever more comfortable, light, and high-resolution headsets.
One of the key players of the global Smart Glasses market is LLVision, the Chinese company founded in 2014 in Beijing, focused on upgrading human-machine collaboration and increasing productivity through the emerging technologies of Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality. The company is currently working in more than 80 countries, has over 20 global partners, more than 3.000 customers, and 80% market share in China.
Last year, we started a partnership with LLVision to adapt and distribute our Augmented Reality solutions – Smart Assistance and BrainPad – on their Smart Glasses. We have already provided Smart Assistance to the LLVision team involved in helping doctors prevent and contain the infection of Coronavirus in Wuhan.

Mauro Rubin, CEO JoinPad, with LEION Smart Glasses by LLVision
As partners, LLVision exclusively sent us the newest binocular AI+AR LEION Smart Glasses. This very lightweight, only 79 g, and comfortable pair of smart glasses can be connected to an Android smartphone to sync AR applications and stream real-time information in Augmented Reality. The device features a 30° field of view, myopia lenses, and an outstanding neural network interference framework embedded with advanced computer vision capabilities that allow fast real-time object recognition and smart interactions. The minimalist design earned LLVision the iF Design Award last year.
LEION Smart Glasses are bound to be the perfect tool for enterprise users for all-day wearing. That is why we have already begun to develop Augmented Reality applications for this unique device and have included it in our portfolio of hardware we recommend to our customers based on the specific use case, as confirmed by our CTO, Giuseppe Audino:
We are always looking for new hardware that integrates well into the processes described by our customers. Besides standing for quality, LLVision offers a range of devices appreciated not only for their technical specifications but also for the broad compatibility with smartphones currently available on the market. We are happy to collaborate with their team again and further open up to the Chinese hardware market.
Thank you to LLVision for providing us with the LEION Smart Glasses. We will keep working together on other ambitious projects and will further expand Augmented Reality technology in the enterprise sector.
