Smart Assistance is developed by JoinPad srl.
This Policy covers only data collected through the Service. Occasionally, we may refer to this Policy in emails related to the Service.
Joinpad collects information required to achieve the purposes set out in this Policy, and the user have the ability to limit such collection.
Our legal basis for collecting and using personal information described in this Policy depends on the personal information concerned.
However, in Smart Assistance the personal information are collected when:
– the processing is in legitimate interests and not overridden by user’s rights;
– the personal information is necessary to perform a service for the user;
– consent was given.
When the user request information or support, register as a new user, respond to a survey or otherwise actively send us data, Smart Assistance may collect data such as: name and surname, email address, company name. In each case, the user will know what data we collect, because the user actively submit it.
When the app is used, data from the user mobile device and network connection, including the device model identifier, operating system identification, network signaling, IP Address, date and time, performance of the Service, and the feature used in the app are automatically received and stored.
When the user install the mobile application, will be asked to grant access to: mobile device’s notifications, camera, microphone and position. The permission to access these features is needed for the App to function properly. If the user grant such permission, JoinPad may collect information about the usage of these features.
When the user enter a Call with another user, voice and video will be trasmitted. The content of the calls will not be stored on any Server and are not visible to unathorized users. JoinPad has not access to those information.
JoinPad uses collected data for the following general purposes:
– allow users of the Service to contact each other via the Service if they exchanged email address;
– communicate with the user regarding the Service;
– administer, protect and improve our Service;
– develop new products and services;
– provide information to the user about related products, offers and services;
– any business purpose if the data is not in personally identifiable form;
– any other use described at the point where information are collected.
JoinPad will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal data about the user is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete, and current. The user are responsible for the accuracy of all personal data provided. All personal data will be removed from our systems when the user deregister/close an account.
The information that the user provide may be collected, transferred, and stored in various locations, including, in the United States of America, Asia, the European Economic Area, or other locations. It may be processed by staff operating outside the European Union who work for JoinPad. By submitting personal data, the user agree to this transfer, storing and processing. The transfer of personal data from EEA is governed by a Global Data Transfer Agreement based on the EU Standard Model Clauses.
Personal data are not shared with others, except as follows:
– third parties who process the data on our behalf for the purposes set forth in this Policy;
– as required by law or in the interest of protecting or exercising our or others’ legal rights, e.g., without limitation, in connection with requests from law enforcement officials and in connection with court proceedings;
– in connection with a prospective or actual sale, merger, transfer or other reorganization;
– where the user have granted us permission.
If the user is a resident of the European Economic Area, the user may exercise the following rights available under applicable data protection law:
If the user wish to access, correct, update or request deletion of personal data, the user can do so at any time by contacting us using the contact details below.
In addition, if the user are a resident of the European Union, the user can object to processing the personal data, ask to restrict processing of the personal data or request portability of the personal data. Again, the user can exercise these rights by contacting us using the contact details provided below.
Personal data are collected and processed with the user consent, but it will be possible to withdraw the consent at any time. This may mean that access to certain services will be restricted or denied as a result. Withdrawing the consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing conducted prior to the withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of the personal data conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
The user have the right to complain to a data protection authority about the collection and use of the personal data. For more information, please contact your local data protection authority.
JoinPad will respond to all requests received from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Removing Information: To discontinue an account and have personal information removed, the user may contact us at email@example.com
JoinPad is taking reasonable steps to protect the personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. It is user’s responsibility to safeguard any password used to access the Service and to change the password if there is a suspect that it has been compromised. The user are solely responsible for any unauthorized use of the Service conducted with a personal account.
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (16 years of age for EU residents). JoinPad does not intentionally or knowingly collect personally-identifiable information from children under this age.
JoinPad reserves the right to change this Policy from time to time and in our sole discretion. The users will be alert that changes have been made by indicating on the Policy the date it was last updated. When the Service is used, the user is accepting the current version of this Policy as posted in the App at that time.
