New projects to spread industrial AR in China
From October 19 to 21, it will take place the 2019 World Conference on VR Industry, the most important Chinese conference on AR and VR technologies, held in Nanchang, Jianxi province. The event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Jianxi Provincial People’s Government with the aim to “of further satisfying people’s growing demand for a better life, accelerating the modernization of China’s economic system and its transformation into an innovation-oriented country“.
This year’s main theme is “VR Adorns the World—VR + 5G for a New Era of Perception“: the event is going to focus on presenting China’s VR industry progress to the world, the latest outcomes, and an exchange platform to attract high-quality enterprises and projects to Jiangxi Province. It will also address how 5G’s commercialization will empower and spread the use of AR/VR applications.
The format consists of an exhibition area which is expected to be visited by over 40.000 attendees, and an exclusive separate conference section accessible to about 500 leaders of the industrial and technological sector, delivering lots of inspiring keynote speeches, networking sessions, opportunities to share insights and exploring new ideas for one’s business.
JoinPad, on behalf of its CEO Mauro Rubin, will take part in the conference attending round table discussions about the future of innovation in the industrial sector. Also, we look forward to meeting with local entrepreneurs from the aviation, automation, and energy sectors we have recently come into contact with, who showed interest in our Augmented Reality solutions for smart process management and production efficiency. We will show them our Smart Assistance application designed to offer real-time augmented remote support to on-field operators, and BrainPad CMS+ app platform that allows anyone to create step-by-step guides in AR.
After Nanchang, our business commitments will lead us to Beijing for a joint project with Tus-Holdings Co., Ltd investment group of Tsinghua University, one of China’s most prestigious universities, praised for its research in science and technology fields. Furthermore, we will be actively involved with the Zhongshan city’s local government to discuss some collaboration opportunities.
While in China, our CEO is also going to take the chance to meet LLVision founders personally, a Chinese startup focused on Smart Glasses for AR applications we recently started a partnership with. We talked about it in a recent post you can find here.
In conclusion, the next weeks will be packed with meetings and new opportunities both for our Italian and Chinese branches. We cannot wait to reveal to you more about our upcoming projects that will shape the future of industrial companies through Augmented Reality technologies.
