Chinese start-up NReal launched its own smart glasses which seem to be a possible competitor of Magic Leap and HoloLens devices. The main features include 1080p projection, 52-degree field of view, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, 360-degree spatial sound through two speakers, and built-in microphones to enable future voice control as well as smart assistants. The AR market is expected to grow a lot this year, driven mainly by demand in the industrial sector as ever more enterprises are already successfully deploying AR applications on Smart Glasses to simplify their processes, reducing costs and downtimes. Augmented Reality is going to be also a game changer for the consumer market, but tech companies still need to develop an affordable and practical device people would wear in their everyday life.
